“Although they never would admit it to each other, Suzanna and Andrew have been unhappy for a while. When yet another argument prompts the couple to venture into a sex robot shop, Suzanna makes a decision. Very much to Andrew’s displeasure, she buys one. To make matters worse, the new household addition is a male model named James. But James, who was meant to be a mere sexual experiment to bring them closer together, stirs up unexpected feelings in Andrew and unwittingly uncovers the very fractures that damaged Andrew and Suzanna’s marriage in the first place.”
